¶ Flush CRT Mount
¶ Parts
- 4x M6 35mm aluminum spacers
- 4x M6 50mm bolts
- 8x M6 oversized washers, 6.4mm ID, 18.0mm OD
¶ Process
Stack up washer-spacer-washer and put inbetween the CRT and its chassis in all four corners. Use the new screws instead of the old ones.
¶ Reference of which screw to replace
This mod can be done without removing the monitor from the cabinet.
- Loosen bottom screws (the monitor->chassis screws, not the cabinet mounting screws)
- Remove top screws (same type of screws as above)
- Tilt monitor back and loosely thread in new screws+spacers/washers
- Remove bottom screws
- Install new screws+spacers/washers
- Tighten top screws all the way
